If you missed it, there was a story on the pages of One Droo Hill yesterday about Matt Ryan's predictions for the Top 6 picks of the 2008 NFL Draft. Well, guess what? Ryan predicted all six correctly. Now, you'll have to throw him a bone on the No. 5 pick, but he did allude to Dorsey being taken amongst the top picks and only the 5 spot was left open by his words. Here's the original dialogue Matt shared with a few reporters on Friday:
"Well, I can give you No. 1," he said laughing. "I'm going to guess Jake Long, No. 1 to the Dolphins. After that … 2, I don't know. I'll probably go … can I pick two people for No. 2? … If you're going to twist my arm, 2, Chris Long. "
"Three? I have no idea. Maybe me. Maybe Glenn Dorsey. … Four, who's four? Oakland? I know they're not taking me. I'll say Darren McFadden. Five … I don't know five."
"Five, I have no idea. Six, the Jets, actually, Vernon Gholston, that's my call. That's my draft and I'm sticking to it."
"Matty Ice" is the best draft analyst in America. Neither Mel Kiper, Todd McShay, Mike Mayock, nor that Evan Silva guy had the top six correct. What does this mean as far as his playing skills go? Ah... Pro Bowl, son!
